WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE SLEEPWEAR PRINT COLLECTION

As a final project for “Surface Pattern Design: From Concept to Market,” I was tasked with designing a slightly larger collection: 2-5 prints based on a trend I identified in my trend research project.

Our collections needed to not only be visually pleasing but also well-researched. I understood the assignment to be more about how well I could lean into trends to create something new rather than just make prints that were pretty. My initial research project was focused on women’s sleepwear (focusing on women aged 18-35), and I focused on one of the smaller trends: lush landscapes.
